Legal procedures started against man accused of subversive acts

AnGiang (VNA) – Police of the Mekong Delta province of An Giang onApril 25 said they just issued a decision to start legal procedures against alocal man to continue their investigation on his subversive acts.

Initialinvestigations show that Le Ngoc Thanh, born in 1972, used Facebook to befriendwith many people inside and outside the country who are members of reactionaryorganisations. Last November, Thanh registered to join the “provisional nationalgovernment of Vietnam”, a reactionary organisation, and provided his personalinformation to take part in the “referendum” to elect Dao Minh Quan as the “Presidentof the third Republic of Vietnam”.

Afterjoining the reactionary organisation for some time, Thanh received two flags ofthe former Saigon regime and a number of documents relating to the organisation.Upon learning of the arrest of a number of the members of the organisation, Thanhcreated another Facebook account to continue his activities.
