Hanoi (VNA) – Local e-commerce floorsin the 63 provinces and cities in Vietnam will connect with one another through a na🐻tional integrated e-commerce floor, according to theVietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency under the Ministry of Industryand Trade.
The agency is carrying out a project on the floor expected to help Vietnamese products betterreach consumers and vice versa. Currently, the promotion of online commerce onlocal e-commerce platforms is still limited and they are said to operateinefficiently.
The project will help connect locale-commerce platforms with one another and with popular e-commerce platforms tocreate multi-dimensional trade connections. The move will boost transactionsand purchase goods through e-commerce channels, said a representative ofthe Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency.
The integrated platform will also support enterprisesin promoting e-commerce and narrowing the gap between big cities/localities andsmaller ones in terms of e-comm🐼erce development./.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 31 signed Directive No. 18/CT-TTg on promoting data connection and sharing for e-commerce development, preventing tax loss, and ensuring monetary security.
