Malaysia promotes tourism in HCM City

The Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board (MTPB) in Vietnam hosted the “Visit Malaysia 2014 Roadshow” series in Ho Chi Minh City on June 20 as one of the programmes to kick off the Malaysia Tourism Year 2014.

The series aims to intensify exchange and cooperation activitiesbetween Vietnamese and Malaysian tourism businesses with a range ofactivities such as talk shows, seminars and trademark promotioncampaigns.

It also creates favourable conditions for the twosides’ enterprises to introduce their tourism products and seek businessand investment opportunities.

MTPB Director Mohd Akbal Setiasaid that Visit Malaysia 2014 Roadshow plays an important role inlinking tourism activities between the two nations and serves as achannel to introduce the beauty and quality services of Malaysia,thus attracting more Vietnamese tourists to the country.

On the occasion, Vietnamese and Malaysian travel agencies launched promotions for those who want to visit the two countries.-VNA
