The 22 nd Vietnam International Hospital , Medical andPharmaceutical Exhibition (Vietnam Medi-Pharm 2015) kicked off inHanoi on May 13.
The annual healthcareindustry event was jointly organised by the Vietnam Medical ProductsImport-Export Joint Stock Company (Vimedimex Vietnam ) and theVietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition Joint Stock Company(Vietfair).
Speaking at the opening ceremony,Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Xuyen said the exhibition provides aplatform for businesses in the industry to showcase their latestproducts and for domestic entrepreneurs to learn about the world’sadvanced healthcare technologies and seek new markets and partnershipopportunities.
She hoped the event would contribute to the development of the medical and pharmaceutical sector in the country.
Running through May 16, this year’s exhibition features 450 standsrun by 350 local and foreign exhibitors. On display are laboratory andanalysis equipment, hospital equipment and machines, healthcareservices, raw drug materials and various types of pharmaceuticals andnutritious food.
The 8 th Vietnam InternationalExhibition on Hospital and Equipment (VIETNAM HOSPITAL 2015) and the 4th Vietnam International Exhibition on Dental Materials and Equipment(VIETNAM DENTAL 2015) were also held on the same day.
Additionally, campaigns to promote World Hypertension Day (May 17)and the AGE Awareness Day (June 21) started during the event alongsideseveral charitable activities, seminars and talks.-VNA
