Quang Ninh (VNA) – Contestant Vu Thi Van Anh beat 20 others to be crowned Miss Ha Long during the finale night in the northern province of 💞Quang Ninh on May 2.
The runner-up was Bui Hoang Linh and the third place went to Vu Nguyen Bich Ngoc.
The winners will be eligible for the final round of the Miss Vietnam 2016 in the north.
The Miss Ha Long pageant was to celebrate the 85 th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) and was part of the Ha Long Carnival 2016.
This year’s pageant attracted over 100 beauties from Quang Ninh and provinces nearby.
The biennial event was co-hosted by the HCMCYU’s provincial chapter, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Women’s Union and the Au Lac – Tuan Chau Quang Ninh company.-VNA
