The Ministry of Health on March 17 evening issued an urgent notice on two flights with passengers on board contracting COVID-19.

Hanoi (VNA)–
The Ministry of Health on March 17 evening issued an urgent notice on flights with passengers on board contracting COVID-19.

The flights comprise EK392 from Dubai to Ho Chi Minh City on March 12, and BR395 from Taiwan (China)to HCM City on March 16.

The ministry asked all the passengers on the flights to contact disease control centres ofcities and provinces for guidance on health monitoring.

Airlineticket agents are responsible for notifying the passengers who bought ticketsfor those flights.

Besides, passengerswho were on flight TG917 from London to Bangkok on March 15 and took a transitflight to Vietnam will also need to contact the municipal and provincial diseasecontrol centres, the ministry said.

Eightother flights with passengers on board contracting COVID-19 were announced by the ministry on March 16.

Thenumber of COVID-19 cases in Vietnam stands at 66 now, 16 of them have beendischarged from hospital following their full recovery./.

꧙ Vietnam, France collaborate in vaccine production technology transfer

Under the agreement, VNVC and Sanofi will gradually implement technology transfers to enable domestic production of several key Sanofi vaccines that are widely used in Vietnam. In addition, Sanofi will support VNVC in training human resources and quality management in vaccine research and manufacturing.
