Artist Vu Duc Hieu, the founder of the Muong Cultural Space Museum in Hoa Binh province, explained that the essence of traditional Muong objects, collected over the years, has significantly shaped these ceramic pieces. These objects evoke the richness of human life and echo ancient symbols, telling the story of Muong culture.

🙈Hieu’s pottery is known for its rough textures and earthy tones—browns, yellows, indigos, and greens. After years of experimenting with both traditional organic ash glazes and modern techniques, he developed a distinctive pottery style.

😼Hieu, the first to establish a private museum dedicated to Muong culture in 2007, has spent nearly two decades preserving and promoting this heritage. His efforts have drawn attention and collaboration from cultural figures worldwide. After mastering traditional pottery techniques, Hieu introduced his own line of ceramics, known as Muong pottery.
