Hai Phong (VNA) – National Assembly (NA) deputiesplay a core role in the NA’s operation, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue has toldvoters in the northern port city of Hai Phong.
During meetings between Chairman Hue and candidates for the 15th NationalAssembly and Hai Phong voters from May 9-11, the top legislator said if elected, theywill perform well tasks and authority of people’s representatives.
Heunderlined the importance to continuing innovation in and improving efficiencyof supervisory activities of the NA.

The NA leader also emphasised the importance of preventive medicine in thepeople's health care, adding that in the coming time, the Government will focuson measures to increase the effectiveness of solutions and policies the State haveapplied to support businesses and people to overcome difficulties caused by theCOVID-19 pandemic.
He took the occasion to suggest the municipal authorities make recommendationsand proposals to the Government and the Prime Minister to outline specificpolicies and mechanisms for the city.
Local voters highly evaluated candidates' qualifications and agreed with theiraction plans, showing their hope that if elected they will well perform therole and responsibility of people-elected deputies as well as their commitments./.
