Discussions centred on appointments to the NA Ethnic Council and the NA Committee on Deputy Affairs, as well as personnel proposals to be submitted for consideration at the 15th NA’s ongoing ninth session.

The NA Standing Committee will discuss, review, and decide on 42 groups of issues during this session, including 24 related to constitutional and legislative matters; 10 concerning socio-economic issues, the state budget, supervision, and other important matters; eight within its authority; and five others, which will be decided in writing.

The top legislator expressed his delight at visiting the university – the academic heart, lighthouse of knowledge, and a source of pride not only for Armenia but also for the entire region.

As an active member of ASEAN and the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), Vietnam stands ready to act as a bridge to help Armenia expand ties with ASEAN, AIPA, and other member parliaments.
