– National AssemblyChairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan visited the aircraft manufacturing factory ofAirbus in Toulouse city on April 3 (local time) as part of her official visitto France.

She witnessed representatives from the nationalflag carrier Vietnam Airlines and budget carrier Vietjet Air receiving theirrespective orders of A350-900 planes and A321neo coded VN-A600 aircraft.

Vice president for Airbus Asia Jean-FrancoisLaval said Airbus is honoured to provide aircraft for Vietnam Airlines andVietjet Air.

The Vietnamese NA Chairwoman’s visit to theAirbus aircraft manufacturing plant illustrates the attention of Vietnameseleaders to the development of the aviation sector, the transfer of technology, andstrategic cooperation between the two countries in this industry.

She also attended a launching ceremony for thenew Toulouse office of FPT– Vietnam’s biggest software producer.

The afternoon saw Chairwoman Ngan and thehigh-level Vietnamese NA delegation successfully conclude their official visitto France at the invitation of President of the National Assembly of France Richard Ferrand, moving on to their working trip to the EuropeanParliament (EP) in Belgium at the invitation of President of the EP AntonioTajani. –VNA
