Hanoi(VNA) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on February 12 offeredincense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at House No. 67, the Ho ChiMinh Relic Site in the Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

The ceremony was alsoattended by Vice Chairman Do Ba Ty and other NA officials.

House No. 67 wasnumbered after the year of its construction in 1967. It was built under adirection of the Politburo and served as the accommodation and working place ofPresident Ho Chi Minh during the war against the US. In the house, the lateleader hosted Politburo members from the central and southern regions.

The house was alsowhere President Ho Chi Minh passed away.

NA Chairwoman NguyenThi Kim Ngan recognised and lauded efforts of officials and staff of the Ho ChiMinh Relic Site in preserving the items and documents related to the President.

She asked them tocontinue the work, thus giving chances for younger generations as well asvisitors in and outside the country to explore the life and career of the lateleader.-VNA
