Legislators on January 7 debated online a draft resolution on fiscal and monetary policies to support the programme on socio-economic recovery and development, as part of the first extraordinary session of the 15th National Assembly.

Hanoi (VNA) – Legislators on January 7 debated onlinea draft resolution on fiscal and monetary policies to support the programmeon socio-economic recovery and development, as part of the first extraordinarysession of the 15th National Assembly.

Most of them agreed on the need to issue the resolution,saying it demonstrates the hope of people and businesses for a better future.

Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc, Governor of the StateBank of Vietnam (SBV) Nguyen Thi Hong and Minister of Planning and InvestmentNguyen Chi Dung cleared up issues of deputies’ concern.

During the working session, the lawmakers alsolooked into a draft resolution on the pilot application of special mechanismsand policies for the development of Can Tho city.

They shared a view that the resolution would helpCan Tho fully tap its potential and strengths, while developing on par withother localities that are also allowed to pilot some special mechanism and policies./.
