Beijing (VNA) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung☂ and his ꦫentourage arrived in Beijing on December 23, beginning his official to China.

He was welcomed at the airport by Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress of China (NPC) Cao Weizhou, who is also head of the China-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentarians Group, other NPC officials, Vietnamese Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi and overseas Vietnamese in China.
While in China, the Vietnamese top legislator is scheduled to hold talks with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the NPC Zhang Dejiang. He will have meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, and Yu Zhengsheng, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
The Vietnamese leader will also meet with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Beijing. NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung’s visit to China, from December 23-27, aims to actualise high-level agreements reached by the two sides over the past time while promoting the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries in a stable, healthy and sustainable manner, for the interest of each side, and for peace and stability in the region and the world at large.-VNA
