National Assembly (NA) convened the plenary session in Hanoi on May 24 under the chair of NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

Hanoi (VNA) – NationalAssembly (NA) convened the plenary session in Hanoi on May 24 under the chairof NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

Lawmakers heard a report onacquiring feedback on the draft Law on amendments and supplements to severalarticles of the Penal Code No.100/2015/QH13 delivered by member of the NAStanding Committee and head of the NA’s Judicial Committee Le Thi Nga.

Later, 48 deputies gave opinionson regulations on several kinds of crimes, charges, convictions regardingnational security violation, economic management, drug, environment, foodsafety, among others.

As scheduled on May 25 morning, theNA will hear reports examining the draft amended Law on Public Debt Management,the draft Law on Foreign Trade Management.

In the afternoon, legislatorswill discuss in groups the socio-economic performance and State budget 2016 andthe first months of 2017, and the State budget balance 2015.-VNA
