Nearly 400 businesses to attend Vietstock 2024

Over 400 enterprises are expected to attend Vietnam's Premier International Feed, Livestock, Aquaculture & Meat Industry Show (Vietstock) to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 9-11, heard a Hanoi press conference on August 7.

Hanoi (VNA) - Over 400 enterprises are expected to attend Vietnam's Premier International Feed, Livestock, Aquaculture & Meat Industry Show (Vietstock) to be held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 9-11, heard a Hanoi press conference on August 7.

The event will provide an ideal venue for businesses to introduce advanced technologies, discuss new trends, and address challenges faced by the livestock and aquaculture industries in the nation and in the entire ASEAN region.

Duong Tat Thang, director of the Department of Livestock under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said it is hoped to involve the participation of more than 400 exhibitors and welcome 13,000 visitors from 50 countries around the world.

An international exhibition titled Aquaculture Vietnam 2024 will also be held as part of the efforts to help visitors gain greater insights into the entire value chain of the Vietnamese livestock and aquaculture industries.

🍃 Six seminars and workshops will be organised throughout the course of the event, aiming to provide forums for farmers, the business community, scientists, and managers to share information in order to devise development orientations for the livestock industry in a more sustainable way towards achieving a green economy model, as well as a green and circular agriculture./.
