Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called President Ho Chi Minh the master of masters and a beacon guiding peoples in fighting for self-determination.

President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro has highly valued the recent visit to Vietnam by Delcy Rodriguez Gomez, member of the Political Bureau of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and Executive Vice President of the country, expressing the most sincere thanks to the key leaders of Vietnam for their unceasing promotion of the traditional friendship between the two countries.

A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Pham Tan Cong, Vice Secretary of the Party Organisation of the Central Enterprises Bloc, attended the 25th Sao Paulo Forum, which took place in Venezuela’s capital Caracas from July 25 – 28.

The Venezuelan President has spoken out against the concerted media campaign aimed at smearing the country, warning the consequences could be grave.
