No new COVID-19 cases recorded in Vietnam on May 23 morning

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam recorded no cases positive for thenovel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 on May 23 morning, marking 37 days in a rowwithout new infections in the community.

According to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention andControl, the national COVID-19 tally now stands at 324, with 267 havingrecovered.

Among the total, 184 are imported cases and were quarantined upon their arrivalin the country.

Of the patients being treated, six have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once,while three others have tested negative for the virus at least twice.

There are 14,744 people kept in quarantine at present, including 266 athospitals, 7,726 at other quarantine facilities, and 6,752 at home./.
