Online tool launched for medical service licence granting

Hanoi (VNA) – Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Xuyen clicked the button to launch an online tool for granting and renewing the ministry’sꩲ health care practice licences on January 14 in Hanoi.

The online tool allows individuals and firms to complete all relevant procedures and payment anywhere with internet-connected devices.
It is expected to strengthen the management of medical practitioners and facilitate licence granting, the Deputy Minister said. Director of the Department for Medical Examination and Treatment Management Luong Ngoc Khue said his agency processes thousands of health care licences per month.
The tool helps save time, energy, and travel costs for individuals and firms, Khue said. The system will be put into operation on February 1.-VNA
