Overseas Vietnamese to convene first economic forum in RoK
The first Overseas Vietnamese Economic Forum (OVECOF) is scheduled to run on April 6 – 9 in Incheon, the Republic of Korea (RoK), with hundreds of businessmen from the Vietnamese expat community in RoK, Vietnam, and the RoK expected to join.

Seoul (VNA) – The first Overseas Vietnamese Economic Forum (OVECOF) is scheduled to runon April 6 – 9 in Incheon, the Republic of Korea (RoK), with hundreds ofbusinessmen from the Vietnamese expat community in RoK, Vietnam, and the RoKexpected to join.
The event is co-organised by the Business Association ofOverseas Vietnamese and the Vietnamese Business Association in the RoK (VIBAK)with support from the Foreign Ministry of Vietnam and the Vietnamese Embassy inthe RoK.
The organizing board said the forum will feature anexhibition of over 100 stalls by participating firms, who are operating innumerous fields, including agriculture, tourism, services, technology, import-export,and finance.
Trade promotion and technology exchange activities to form anetwork among Vietnamese enterprises at home and overseas and their Koreanpeers will also take place.
Head of the VIBAK Tran Hai Linh said highlights of the OVECOFinclude the introduction of projects that help connect Vietnamese firms topotential investors; seminars to be participated by experts and representativesof renowned RoK companies; and experience exchanges on new business models tocapitalize on the fourth industrial revolution.-VNA
