Hanoi (VNA) – Politburo member and President NguyenXuan Phuc attended a ceremony in Hanoi on April 4 to mark the 15th founding anniversary of the Party Organisation of the Central Agencies’ Bloc (April11).

President Phuc hailed the Party Organisation’s strongperformance over the past 15 years in maintaining a strong organisationand completing all set targets, thus affirming its important position and role in thepolitical system.

The great efforts by the Party Organisation in general and itsofficials and members in particular have greatly contributed to the comprehensivesuccess of the whole Party, people and military, he underlined.

Highlighting the significant role of the Party Organisation of the CentralAgencies’ Bloc in the political system, the President asked the organisation tofocus more on Party building and improve its operationaleffectiveness in line with resolutions, directives and regulations given by theParty, as well as the leadership and directions of the Politburo and the PartyCentral Committee’s Secretariat.

At the same time, the Party Committee of the Central Agencies’ Bloc shouldstrongly renovate its leadership methods and further promote the Party's leadingrole in central agencies, he requested, stressing the need for the organisationto build a contingent of hard-working, thrifty and honest officials and Partymembers to serve the people and nation.

The State leader also underscored the significance of strictinspection and supervision activities in the Party Organisation, while askingit to propose mechanisms and policies that are suitable to the reality tocontinue speeding up the “Doi Moi” (Renewal) cause and the nationalmodernisation and industrialisation./.
