Hanoi (VNA) -🦋 The price of bio-fuel E5 increased by 429 VND whilethose of diesel 0.05S and kerosene increased slightly by 430 VND and 448 VNDper litre, respectively in the latest regular adjustment of petrol and oilprices on January 19.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry ofFinance announced that the prices of E5 are not higher than 18,672 VND perlitre, and those of diesel 0.05S and kerosene should not be higher than 15,959VND per litre and 14,560 VND per litre, respectively.
The changes took effect from 15:00 on January 19.
The two ministries also decided to keepusing the price stabilisation fund for E5 bio-fuel at 857 VND per litre whilethe use of the fund for diesel was 400 VND per litre, unchanged from theprevious adjustment.
The Ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance conducted areview of fuel prices every 15 days to adjust the prices in accordance withfluctuations on the world market.
The average global priceof petrol products during the last 15 days to January 19 was at 76.243 USD perbarrel for RON 92 and 80.214 USD for diesel.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided to increase the retail price of RON 92 petrol by 434 VND to a maximum of 18,580 VND (0.82 USD) per litre from 3:00pm on November 20.
The Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation (Petrolimex) and PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOil) on December 15 officially supplied E5 RON92 bio-fuel for sale nationwide to replace RON 92 petrol, 15 days before a Government deadline.
The price of bio-fuel E5 was kept unchanged while those of diesel 0.05S and kerosene increased slightly by 360 VND and 495 VND per litre respectively in the latest regular adjustment of petrol and oil prices on January 4.
The quality of E5 bio fuel in Vietnam is ensured and meets international standards. All features, capacity and fuel consumption remain the same, and in some criteria E5 is better than RON 92, officials said.
