Petrol prices soar by over 1,400 VND per litre

Retail petrol prices increased by more than 1,400 VND per litre from 4 pm on October 26 following the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Hanoi (VNA) - Retail petrol prices increased bymore than 1,400 VND per litre from 4 pm on October 26 following the latestadjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The retail price of E5RON92 bio-fuel increased 1,427 VND toa maximum of 23,110 VND (1.02 USD) per litre, while that of RON95-III rose 1,459VND to no more than 24,338 VND per litre.

The prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene, meanwhile, went up 1,171VND and 1,015 VND to 18,716 VND and 17,637 VND per litre, respectively.

The two ministries review fuel prices every 15 days to keepdomestic prices in line with the global market.

Gasoline prices in Vietnam have continuously increased over time inline with fluctuations in the global oil prices. They have to date rose byabout 6,500 VND per litre compared to the beginning of this year./.
