Petrolimex to issue e-invoices from April

The Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) is ready to issue e-invoices to customers from April 1, according to Deputy General Director Tran Ngoc Nam.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex)is ready to issue e-invoices to customers from April 1, according to DeputyGeneral Director Tran Ngoc Nam.

Nam said that in March, Petrolimex will hold training courses for itsmember units on the process of issuing e-invoices.

He said a pilot month of applying e-invoices in the group and Ha SonBinh petroleum company has finished. All problems have been tackled and thefirm has finalised preparation work.

Petrolimex launched the e-invoice project on May 19, 2015 with thesupport of VNPT-Vinaphone-Daka joint venture, said Nam, adding that the firm’sdatabase has been computerised to serve the issuance of electronic receipts.

Issuing e-invoices is expected to cut costs and make petroleum trademore transparent.

Customers can receive their receipts via email or by accessingPetrolimex’s website at //hoadon.petrolimex.com.vn.

The invoices will be kept on the Petrolimex server for 10 years. Thiswill also help management agencies access information and control petrol tradeactivities in Vietnam.-VNA
