PM arrives in New York for UN General Assembly’s 73rd session

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrived in New York on the morning of September 27 (Vietnam time) to attend the high-level general debate of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.

New York (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc arrivedin New York on the morning of September 27 (Vietnam time) to attend the high-levelgeneral debate of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.

The Government leader is accompanied by Deputy PM and Foreign MinisterPham Binh Minh, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung,Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Acting Minister of Informationand Telecommunications Nguyen Manh Hung and Minister of Health Nguyen Thi KimTien, among others.

During his stay, PM Phuc will deliver a speech at the high-level generaldebate at the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly on September27, and attend a seminar with US businesses on investing in Vietnam amidst thefourth industrial revolution.

On the sidelines of the session, the PM will meet with leaders of the UNGeneral Assembly, and the Secretary-General of the UN. He will hold bilateralmeetings with the President of the Council of State of Cuba, the Presidents of Fijiand Croatia, and the Prime Ministers of Saint Lucia and Bulgaria.

The PM will also meet some US friends, members of the Vietnam Permanent Missionto the UN and the Vietnamese community in New York.-VNA
