Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, his spouse and a high-rankingdelegation of the Government left Hanoi on June 4 morning for an official visit to Japan and the 23rdInternational Conference on the Future of Asia from June 4-8 at the invitation of Japanese PM Shinzo Abe.

He is accompanied by head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission forEconomic Affairs Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of the Government Office Mai TienDung, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Labour, Invalidsand Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh,Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, among others.

Thevisit aims to affirm that Vietnam attaches importance to enhancing anddeepening the extensive strategic partnership between the two countries invarious fields, accelerating economic-trade and investment ties at central andlocal levels.

Italso reflects the active role played by Vietnam in the region as well as the country’sviewpoint on globalisation process.

PMNguyen Xuan Phuc is expected to deliver a keynote speech at the 23rdInternational Conference on the Future of Asia./.
