PM to chair Quang Binh investment promotion conference
The central province of Quang Binh’s investment promotion conference will take place on August 26-27 in Dong Hoi city under the chair of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

Quang Binh (VNA) – The central province of Quang Binh’s investment promotion conferencewill take place on August 26-27 in Dong Hoi city under the chair of PrimeMinister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
At the event which isexpected to draw over 500 delegates, the province plans to grant investment licencesand documents on investment cooperation to 66 projects with total capital of162.25 trillion VND (about 7.05 billion USD).
The projects are mainlyin tourism-resort, industry, agriculture, and infrastructure development.
Dinh Huu Thanh,Director of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment said that the conferenceaims to introduce the investment potential and opportunities in the province.This is also a chance for investors to meet and make dialogue with localauthorities, seeking new cooperation opportunities and sketching out orientationsand solutions to effectively exploit the potential and strengths of Quang Binh.
According to ViceChairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Tien Dung, the conference isof significant importance to the locality. He stressed that local authoritieswill exert every efforts to accompany with and create optimal conditions forinvestors to operate effective and sustainable business in the province.
The province alsohopes to continue receiving support from media agencies to promote theprovince’s activities.
