Before leaving for home, Minister Quang met with Secretary of theTianjin municipal People’s Committee Sun Chunlan, who hailed themulti-faceted cooperation between her city and Vietnamese localities.

Tianjin authorities treasure and hope to developbilateral friendship and comprehensive collaboration with Vietnameseprovinces and cities, especially Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, shesaid.

Minister Quang expressed his hope that suchrapports will be further deepened, thus fostering the Vietnam-Chinatraditional friendship and cooperation and satisfying the aspirationsand interests of the two peoples.

At a separatemeeting with Senior Lieutenant General Wang Jianping, Commander of theChinese People’s Armed Police, the Vietnamese official said he hopes theChinese side and his ministry will increase information sharing inpreventing terrorism and disturbance as well as ensuring safety andorder in the respective countries for peace and stability in the regionand the world at large.-VNA
