Quang Ninh (VNA) - The 2019 World Circus Festival, themed ‘Newchapter for a wonder’, will be held in Ha Long city, the northern province ofQuang Ninh, from November 11-17.
The event will see the participation of more than 100 artists from 20 countriesand territories around the world, including Mongolia, Cuba, Ethiopia, Canada,Moldova, Brazil, Germany, Russia, the US, Japan, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
A wide range of attractive events will be held during the festival, such as astreet circus art parade, a circus competition, a gala of special circusperformances, a seminar on ‘circus with potential for tourism development’, andan international culinary festival.
The jury of the World Circus Festival - Ha Long 2019 consists of seven membersfrom Vietnam’s and the World’s Circus Associations.
In addition, many well-known Vietnamese singers will give performances atseveral activities.
The organising board will sell tickets for competition nights, ranging from 600,000VND to 2 million VND./.
The northeast coastal province of Quang Ninh has been working hard to lure investment and develop tourism products in a bid to promote the province’s tourism brand.
The 2019 Hanoi International Circus Festival, which saw the participation of 13 circus troupes, closed on October 20 at the Hanoi Central Circus after a week of brilliant performances.
