Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,27 VND/USD on December 17, down 2 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,484 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,057 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates also saw decreases.
At 8:31 am, both Vietcombank and BIDV listed the buying rate at 25,183 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,483 VND/USD, down 2 VND from December 16./.
