Hanoi (VNA) – The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,213 VND per USD on October1, down 2 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/-3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,910VND/USD and the floor rate, 22,516 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at most ofcommercial banks saw slight fluctuations.
At 8:15 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 23,060 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,270 VND/USD, both down10 VND from October 30.
BIDV also cut both rates by 10 VND,listing the rates at 23,090 VND/USD (buying) and 23,270 VND/USD (selling)./.
