Reference exchange rate down 25 VND on September 12

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,187 VND/USD on September 12, down 25 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,187 VND/USD on September 12, down 25 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,396 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,978 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw decreases.

At 8:37 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,380 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,720 VND/USD, both down 115 VND from the previous day.

🍸 BIDV also reduced both rates by 110 VND, posting the buying rate at 24,390 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,730 VND/USD./.
