Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam on February 8 set the referenceexchange rate at 22,435 VND/USD, down 10 VND from the previous day.
With thecurrent trade band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercialbanks during the day is 23,108 VND/USD and the floor rate 21,764 VND/USD.
At majorcommercial banks, the price of USD saw a little decrease from the previous day.
Vietcombanklisted the rates at 22,660 VND/USD (buying) and 22,730 VND/USD (selling), down10 VND from February 7.
Both rates listed by Vietinbank were down by 6 VND, to 22,662 VND/USD (buying)and 22,732 VND/USD (selling).
Meanwhile, BIDV maintained their rates at 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745 VND(selling). - VNA
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 22,444 VND/USD on the first day of the week (February 5), up 18 VND from the last day of last week (February 2).
