Reference exchange rate revised up 6 VND

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,234 VND per USD on February 20, up 6 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,234 VND per USD onFebruary 20, up 6 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of  +/-3percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,931VND/USD and the floor rate 22,537 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at mostcommercial banks saw a slight fluctuation.

At 8:20 am, Vietcombank listed thebuying rate at 23,140 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,310 VND/USD, both up 5VND from the same time on February 19.

BIDV also added 5 VND to both rates,with the buying rate listed at 23,170 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,310VND/USD.

Meanwhile, Techcombank cut both ratesby 17 VND, listing the buying rate at 23,143 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,303 VND/USD./.
