Reference exchange rate stays stable on July 24

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 24,264 VND/USD on July 24, unchanged from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 24,264 VND/USD on July 24, unchanged from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,477 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,051 VND/USD.

At commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw increases.

At 8:21am, Vietcombank raised the buying rate by 20 VND to 25,177 VND/USD while keeping the selling rate at 25,477 VND/USD.

🐷 Meanwhile, BIDV kept its both rates unchanged from June 23, listing the rates at 25,157 VND/USD (buying) and 25,477 VND/USD (selling)./.
