Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,256 VND/USD on August 13, unchanged from the previous session.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,469 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,043 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates saw mixed developments.
At 8:41am, Vietcombank listed the rates at 24,950 VND/USD (buying) and 25,290 VND/USD (selling), both down 90 VND from August 12.
Meanwhile, BIDV kept both rates the same as the previous day, listing the buying rate at 24,950 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,290 VND/USD./.
