Reference exchange rate unchanged on January 31

Hanoi (VNA) – TheState Bank of Vietnam kept the daily reference exchange rate unchanged onJanuary 31 at 22,868 VND/USD.

With the current trading band of  +/- 3percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercial banks for the day is 23,554VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,182 VND/USD.

The opening hour rates at commercial bankscontinued to stay stable.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 23,150VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,240 VND/USD, unchanged from January 30.

BIDV also kept both rates at the same levelsas on January 30 at 23,155 VND/USD (buying) and 23,245 VND/USD (selling).

Both rates at Techcombank also remainedunchanged at 23,130 VND/USD (buying) and 23,240 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
