Hanoi (VNA) - The StateBank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,204 VND per USD onMarch 11, up 1 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is23,903 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,509 VND/USD.
The rates listed by major commercialbanks stayed stable.
At 8:10 am, Vietcombank listed the buyingrate at 22,930 VND/USD and the selling rate at 23,140 VND/USD, unchanged fromMarch 10.
Similarly, BIDV also kept both ratesunchanged, listing the buying rate at 22,955 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,155 VND/USD.
Meanwhile, Vietinbank added 3 VND toboth rates, listing the buying rate at 22,913 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,153 VND/USD./.
The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate at 23,185 VND per USD on March 8, up 19 VND from the last working day of previous week (March 5).
According to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), in the interbank market, the trend of decreasing overnight interest rates has continued, starting at 3.13% in the first session of last week and gradually decreasing over the sessions to 1.67% at the last session of the week.
