Reference exchange rate up 16 VND on April 2

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,851 VND/USD on April 2, up 16 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,851 VND/USD on April 2, up 16 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,094 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,608 VND/USD.

At major commercial banks, the opening-hour rates saw increases.

At 8:30 am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,460 VND/USD and the selling rate 25,820 VND/USD, both up 50 VND from the April 1 morning session.

ไ BIDV also raised both rates by 40 VND, listing the buying rate at 25,450 VND/USD and the selling rate at 25,810 VND/USD./.
