Reference exchange rate up 20 VND on April 25

The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,948 VND/USD on April 25, up 20 VND from the previous day.

Hanoi (VNA) – The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,948 VND/USD on April 25, up 20 VND from the previous day.

With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 26,195 VND/USD and the floor rate 23,701 VND/USD.

At 8:15 am, the opening-hour rates at major commercial banks saw increases.

Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 25,835 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,195 VND/USD, both up 21 VND from the April 24 morning session.

𒈔 BIDV also raised both rates by 20 VND, posting the buying rate at 25,830 VND/USD and the selling rate at 26,190 VND/USD./.
