A commercial sea transport route from the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang to Con Dao islands was launched on July 14 with the first ship setting sail from Tran De sea mouth at 8:30 am.
The 12th waterway and garden festival of the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang kicked off in Nhon My commune of Ke Sach district on May 28, expected to attract 10,000 visitors.
Being known as the land of festivals and temples, Soc Trang province in the Mekong Delta is also famous for its Ok Om Bok, one of the biggest festivals of Khmer ethnic people in the locality.
