Da Nang (VNA) – Actress Lydia Park of the Republic of Korea will visit Da Nang to participate in a film programme aimed at young people next month.
The 48-year-old will offer training in acting for participants during the Autumn Meeting, a film programme launched in 2013.
She has performed in several quality films, such as Love Me Not in 2006, Mission Possible: Kidnapping Granny K and The Show Must Go On in 2007, which have been popular among Vietnamese fans.
Young people aged 16 to 26 are encouraged to join the event. Before the free training, they will be cast in roles by Vietnamese-American director Charlie Nguyen and actress Kathy Uyen.
Autumn Meeting will also feature Moon Sori, winner of the Best Newcomer at the 59th Venice Film Festival in 2002. She will talk about her experience in filming.
Moon, 42, has received several top prizes at film festivals at home and abroad.
She played leading roles in Oasis in 2002, A Good Lawyer’s Wife in 2003 and Forever the Moment in 2008.
Autumn Meeting is being held by independent director Phan Dang Di and his colleagues, film producers Tran Bich Ngoc and Nguyen M🧸y Dung. This year, the annual event ⛄will be held from November 8-16.-VNA
