Hanoi (VNA) –Rock band Scorpions will entertain fans in Hanoi during the annual Monsoon Music Festival 2016 which is scheduled for October 21-23.
Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi on August 15, general director of the festival, musician Quoc Trung said the band will perform in the capital city’s Thang Long Royal Citadel on October 23 as special guests.
The musician said the performance is part of the band’s tour to many countries to mark the group’s 50th anniversary.
This year’s Monsoon Music Festival themed “ I participate- I act- I change- I share” will host several other renowned artists.
First arriving in Vie♛tnam in 2014, the event received major public praise. The awaiting Monsoon Music Festival 2015 was kicked off at Thang Long Royal Citadel in Hanoi on October 8, enticing thousands of youngsters to take part.
