Thailand’s Industry Minister Pimphattra Wichaikul said on June 23 that factories and relevant agencies have prepared measured to cope with flooding caused by the El Nina phenomenon.

The programme to raise funds for the benefit of flood victims through sending SMS has received 21,490 responses, each with a value of 20,000 VND (0.9 USD), according to the Vietnam Red Cross Association.

Viettel's mobile data subscribers can now download unlimited premium apps and games for a weekly subscription fee of 10,000 VND (45 US cents).
