Sub-committee ensures Vietnam-India atomic energy cooperation efficiency

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to form the Vietnam Sub-Committee in the Vietnam-India Joint Committee on Atomic Energy Cooperation.
Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to form the VietnamSub-Committee in the Vietnam-India Joint Committee on Atomic EnergyCooperation.

The sub-committee willhelp the PM coordinate the cooperation activities within the joint committee,and strengthen partnership and the implementation of the agreement betweenVietnam and India in using atomic energy for peaceful purposes.

It will become a conjuncturepoint for ministries, sectors and agencies to implement the agreement, ensuringthe effective operation of the Vietnam-India Joint Committee on Atomic EnergyCooperation. At the same time, it will host or work with the Indian side tohold meetings of the Joint Committee.

The head of thesub-committee is a Deputy Minister of Science and Technology. It has a standingmember, a secretary, and a number of members representing various ministriesand agencies.

The sub-committee willbe operated by the Ministry of Science and Technology.-VNA
