Thai Nguyen (VNA) – A symposium has been hosted by Thai Nguyen University aspart of the Aus4Skills scheme, known as Vietnam-Australia Human Resource Development Partnership, to shareexperience in building and developing sustainable linkages between enterprisesand universities.
The October 23event also introduced models for enterprise-university cooperation and proposedideas for such models to succeed in Vietnam while providing more opportunityfor strengthening connection and partnership between the two sides.
Linkages betweenenterprises and universities would benefit both sides, Prof. Dr. Pham HongQuang, Director of Thai Nguyen University told the Symposium on Promoting Sustainable Linkagesbetween Enterprises and Universities held in the northern province of ThaiNguyen.
Enterprises actas providers of information to help universities understand labour marketrequirements; meanwhile, universities’ programmes need to be relevant todemands of the society, including those of enterprises, he said. That’s whyuniversities must stay connected with enterprises.
