𒅌 – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong signed a decision assigning tasks to Politburo members on February 4.

Under the decision, Dinh The Huynh will serve as permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat and Pham Minh Chinh will be head of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission.
Vo Van Thuong is appointed head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Education and Information; and Truong Thi Mai as head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission. Hoang Trung Hai will take the position of Secretary of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee, while Dinh La Thang will be Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Party Committee.
Nguyen Van Nen will become Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office. The Politburo also assigned seven members to the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat as follow: General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Dinh The Huynh; head of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission Tran Quoc Vuong; head of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission Pham Minh Chinh; head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Education and Information Vo Van Thuong; and head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission Truong Thi Mai.-VNA
