Ten more Vietnamese elected as ambassadors of vocational skills
Ten more young Vietnamese have been chosen to become Vietnam’s ambassadors of vocational skills this year by the General Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Hanoi (VNA) –Ten more young Vietnamese have been chosen to become Vietnam’s ambassadors ofvocational skills this year by the General Department of Vocational Trainingunder the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
The ambassadors, agedbetween 24 and 35, will join in programmes and activities approved by theGeneral Department for a three-year tenure.
They include TruongThe Dieu, Dang Quang Phong, Thi Quoc Vinh, Nhu Thi Phuong, Phan Van Quoc andNguyen Thai Phuong.
Cao Van Minh, NguyenDuc Loi, Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang and Nguyen Thi Doan also make their names ontothe list.
All of them obtainedawards at international vocational contests, won bronze medals or moreprestigious ones at the competitions in ASEAN, and clinched certificatesproving their outstanding skills at contests of regional and internationallevel.
So far, Vietnam has atotal of 20 ambassadors of vocational skills. The appointment of ambassadors aimsto honour young workers with high vocational skills, attract more outstandingindividuals in the field and encourage lifelong learning./.
Only around 83,320 ninth grade students in Ho Chi Minh City will sit the 10th grade entrance examinations, and the remaining 16,245 have not registered for the exam, the municipal Department of Education and Training has said.

PM Chinh lauded the press’s historic role in the nation’s fight for independence and its ongoing process of national development, affirming that the Government always highly appreciates the close partnership and steadfast support of press agencies and journalists nationwide.
In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.

A master plan on implementation of recommendations accepted by Vietnam under the fourth cycle of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) took effect on June 17.
