Hai Phong (VNA)ౠ – Mini Thailand Week 2025 kicked off in the northern city of Hai Phong on March 20, showcasing outstanding Thai products.

The event, until March 23, is jointly held by the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Thai Ministry of Commerce, the Trade Office at the Thai Embassy in Hanoi, and the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (VINEXAD). This year’s edition aims to establish a strong platform for Thai and Vietnamese businesses to connect, exchange, and grow together. Featuring 70 booths by over 50 Thai exhibitors, the fair displays a wide range of high-quality Thai products across seven key sectors, including food and beverages, health and beauty care products, apparel, household appliances, gifts and decorative products, pet food, and tourism services.
According to Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Urawadee Sriphiromya, the decision to bring Mini Thailand Week back to Hai Phong after a three-year hiatus reflects Thai trade authorities' strong appreciation for the city’s immense potential in trade and investment. As one of Vietnam’s most dynamic port cities and a key economic and trade hub, Hai Phong presents valuable opportunities to enhance bilateral trade and cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam. With strong support from the Thai government and private enterprises in Vietnam, the event will offer a vibrant experience, featuring engaging activities that highlight Thailand’s culture, people, and business opportunities, she added.
Nguyen Van Thanh, Director of municipal Department of Industry and Trade, emphasised that this year’s edition is not only a trade promotion activity providing businesses from both countries with opportunities to expand markets and investment cooperation but also holds special significance as Hai Phong is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its liberation (May 13, 1955 – 2025). The event is expected to further deepen the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Thailand as well as between Hai Phong and Thai localities, he continued./.
