Thua Thien-Hue: 21 women awarded title of “Heroic Mothers”
The central province of Thua Thien-Hue held a ceremony on September 20 to confer the noble State-given title of “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” to 21 women whose husbands and children laid down their lives in the struggle for national liberation and protection.

Amongthem, only Le Thi Hai from Dien Loc commune of the province’s Phong Diendistrict is still alive. On theoccasion, local authorities presented the Order of Independence to 14 familiesof martyrs and the Order of Labour to 13 organisations and individuals in theprovince. Inaddition, 15 other organisations and seven individuals with outstandingachievements and great contributions to national building and safeguarding werehonoured at the event. According to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and SocialAffairs, more than nine million people have been recognised as revolutionarycontributors to date, including 1.2 million war martyrs, 127,000 heroic mothers,and 800,000 war invalids. –VNA
Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony on December 11 to confer posthumously the noble State title of “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” to 18 women whose husband and children laid down their lives in the struggle for national liberation and protection.
Dong Thap presented the noble State title of “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” to 84 local women whose husband and children laid down their lives in the struggle for national liberation and defence.
The title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother was presented to 44 women in Ho Chi Minh City for their sacrifice for national independence and reunification in celebration of the 71st anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).
A ceremony was organised in the central city of Da Nang on July 26 to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Vietnam War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27 ) and review the 5-year housing support programme for contributors to the country's revolution in the locality.

In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
