Speaking in front of representatives of the Vietnamese community inJapan, Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung affirmed that the triumph of the Ho ChiMinh Campaign and the reunification of Vietnam 40 years ago werebrought about by the sound leadership of President Ho Chi Minh and theCommunist Party.
Forty years after the victory,Vietnam has developed from a poor and underdeveloped country to adynamic economy with annual per capita income averaging 2,000 USD in2014. The country has expanded its external relations and its positionin the international arena has been improved.
The diplomat also stressed that every Vietnamese citizen living in Japanshould take responsible for nurturing and developing the Vietnam-Japanrelations in order to contribute further to the nation-building andsafeguarding cause.
On the occasion,participants paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and watcheddocumentaries on the liberation war and national construction anddevelopment process.-VNA
During his stay in China’s Guangzhou city from 1924 to 1927 to prepare for the establishment of a Communist Party to lead Vietnam’s revolution, President Ho Chi Minh founded “Thanh nien” newspaper and released its first issue on June 21, 1925.

In recent decades, Vietnam’s mainstream media has become a reliable and persuasive channel for showcasing the nation’s development policies and achievements, especially in economic matters, according to a senior assistant editor at the Times of India.
A hub for sharing best practices, the event aims to forge solutions for financial sustainability, public media contracts, audience engagement, content innovation, and newsroom restructuring. It is also a moment for Vietnam’s media to accelerate its progress and figure out what the “revolutionary press” means in a new era.
From “Thanh nien”, Vietnam’s first revolutionary newspaper founded by Nguyen Ai Quoc (later President Ho Chi Minh) on June 21, 1925, the revolutionary press has remained devoted to its sacred missions -accompanying the nation, serving the Fatherland, and working for the people.
